Energy Polycarbonate Roof Glazing
Polycarbonate offers an alternative to glass, it is lightweight
and is produced in bronze and opal finishes. A clear version
is also available. 25mm quadruple polycarbonate is used as
standard by POSH Windows & Conservatories, this gives
a higher U value than Pilkington K glass and has proved popular
with many of our customers.
Computer simulations have proven that
when the external temperature is 75o F, glass can reach 149o
F. When using *SUNERGY® the temperature can fall dramatically
to 86o F - a difference of 63o F. |
